Colposcopy

One less worry...

What is it?

Colposcopy involves examining the cervix under high magnification to identify changes suggestive of HPV, precancerous lesions, or cervical cancer.

How is it performed?

Once on the gynecological examination table, your gynecologist will gently insert a speculum into the vagina to properly visualize the cervix. Then the cervix is stained with different substances to identify lesions.
Colposcopy doesn't hurt!
