Infertility

When we talk about infertility, we talk about an "infertile couple," which is why the study is directed at both members of the couple.

During the consultation, a complete medical history of the patient and their partner is taken, along with a general and gynecological examination looking for elements that suggest endocrine disorders, metabolic alterations, among others.

The next step is to request clinical tests that allow us to evaluate:

Ovulation, ovarian reserve, and other hormonal alterations.

The uterus, fallopian tubes, and peritoneum, performing different studies such as transvaginal ultrasound, hysterosalpingography, hysteroscopy, and if necessary, diagnostic laparoscopy.

Asymptomatic cervical infections caused by Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma, and Chlamydia.

Male factor.
