What is an ultrasound?

An ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging test that uses sound waves (ultrasound) to create images of organs, tissues, and structures in our anatomy.

Is ultrasound dangerous?

No, sound waves do not cause side effects. Ultrasound is not the same as a radiograph and, therefore, does not have radiation risk.

Obstetric ultrasound

One of the most gratifying moments for parents is seeing their baby for the first time on an ultrasound.

5D

5D ultrasound is a high-definition reconstruction of the baby's images.

5D PV

The latest technology in ultrasound imaging is 5D PV (Love at First Sight), which offers highly detailed images of the baby, creating a unique window into their world in the womb. With this technology, parents can get a realistic view of the baby before birth.

The images are so clear that even the baby's skin tone appears with a more natural and realistic pink tone. This technology provides a new level of visualization and creates a memorable experience for parents.

5D PV technology is a true advancement in the field of ultrasound imaging, offering an experience as real as unforgettable.

In Gyneco, you can get an ultrasound from weeks 5-6 of pregnancy.

Weeks 6-11: 1st Trimester Ultrasound

Fetal vitality, number of fetuses, and gestational weeks are evaluated.

Weeks 11-14: Nuchal Translucency

In conjunction with other parameters, it evaluates the risk of chromosomopathies.

After week 16: Gender

We can now confidently determine the sex!

Weeks 20-24: Morphostructural

Each organ is carefully examined for malformations.

Weeks 26-32:
5D and 5DPV Ultrasounds

This range is ideal for 5D and 5DPV ultrasounds.

After week 32: 3rd Trimester Ultrasound

Estimated fetal weight, amount of amniotic fluid, placenta position, etc.

Gynecological Ultrasound

The gynecological ultrasound evaluation of our internal genitals is very, very simple.
Basically, we observe the uterus and ovaries, their dimensions, the existence of abnormal elements such as fibroids, polyps, cysts, tumors, among others.

They can be evaluated through transabdominal ultrasound, or transvaginal as needed.

Possible reasons for request:

Abnormal uterine bleeding.

Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation).

Dyspareunia (pain during sexual intercourse).

IUD control.

Anexial pathology.

Endometriosis.

Uterine fibromatosis.

Chronic pelvic pain.
